Dr Alexander Forryan, Knowledge Exchange
Dr Alexander Forryan (TEA-COSI KE Coordinator) is currently employed at the University of Southampton as a research assistant, where he has worked since graduating in 2010.
His research interests include deep ocean mixing, turbulence measurement and ocean/atmosphere interactions.

This project aims to reduce the uncertainties in our understanding of how atmosphere, sea-ice and ocean interact to influence Arctic climate and so develop better predictive capabilities.

Measuring sea temperatures in the Arctic TEA-COSI research cruise
TEA-COSI, a NERC Arctic Research Programme project, is looking at the behaviour of the Arctic Ocean and it's sea ice, with the aim of reducing uncertainty in the prediction of Arctic climate.
